PPHOA 2020 Fall Newsletter

Update on the Neighborhood
By Bob Hayes, PPHOA President
I hope everybody has been healthy and well during this most unusual year. Strange times are upon us, but the world keeps spinning and this newsletter is being sent to keep you informed about what is going on in the neighborhood.
The big news of course is that NCDOT is beginning a major construction project on the boundary of the neighborhood and it will certainly affect us all. Please see the article by Harvey Katowitz in which he gives updated information on the status of the project and how it will impact the neighborhood entrance at Plantation and Weddington.
Please also see the article by Valerie Roberts, our Socials Chairperson. Among other things, the HOA has begun to host a periodic blood drive, which has been very well attended, and will therefore be continued. Also, our second annual paper shredding event is coming up on October 10th.
